Window Depot recently completed a project involving new window installations. After purchasing the Bay Village property just a short time ago, the Rock family knew right away that at some point, it would be imperative they give attention to the neglected, unusable sun porch in their backyard. Prior to Window Depot giving the Rock family a brand new space, there were floor-to-ceiling screens and an old rickety wood door. The space felt like a birdcage, and after years of sustaining NE Ohio elements, it was long overdue for an upgrade. The Rocks thoroughly enjoy spending time outdoors on their patio with family and friends, and while they knew they wanted to beef up the sun porch area with products that had a bigger presence and longer lasting materials, they didn’t want the new space to detract from the outdoor area. Window Depot created 2ft. high walls on all three sides of the porch. In doing so, they wanted the new and improved sun porch area to feel like it was always a part of the main house’s footprint. The Rock family accomplished what they had imagined from the moment they first toured the property. They love having a space they can enjoy all year round, no matter the season. For what was a completely unusable space is now one that they spend the most time in.
